SmartWire Tech

A new method for producing solar panels uses small wires instead of large bus bars to connect the solar cells. A clear sheet holds the wires, and robots connect them to the solar cells. The cells and wires are covered with a particular material and placed between plastic sheets to create the solar module. The small wires also decrease shading and allow fewer shadows on the active surface of each cell. This technique is superior to the traditional way as it reduces stress on the cells, strengthens the module, and increases the amount of power collected.

Helioseal

An incredibly strong synthetic polymer-based sealant is now applied on the edges of every XPLOR Flex+ solar module, providing a watertight seal. Incorporating this technique effectively mitigates the ingress of moisture to the cells, consequently enhancing the robustness and longevity of the solar module system. This also ensures the protective UV top sheet doesn’t peel off, maintaining XPLOR’s excellence in durability.

Bypass Diodes

Incorporating bypass diodes between every cell on a solar module drastically increases the productivity of the module. Your panels will generate more energy if a cell is blocked or damaged than a traditional panel with fewer bypass diodes, and your solar panels will last longer due to not having hot spots in shaded cells.
